It's a #throwback

Hey Ya'll,

So it's time for layers!!!! Fall gives me the opportunity to show off my entire ensemble well if the weather permits it. Just knowing that when I go outside my conture won't melt off my face and my hair won't be a sweaty ass mess is all that I need for a great fashionable  day.
But what to wear? Well you could  go out and buy yourself a whole new wardrobe. Or if you don't have the extra cash then you could go through your closets and drawers for some throwback pieces, put those pieces together and reinvent yourself the perfect fall wardrobe.
How I reinvent my wardrobe takes a little bit of research, creativity and inspiration. I surf through other curvy blogs, magazines, social media sites and online shops. Then I look into my closets and drawers and find those traditional key pieces that can be able to finalize my outfits.
My problem has been letting clothes go. I will hoard till the room bursts with outdated shirts and old sweaters. Always concerned about the chance that, that particular item that I let go the other day wouldn't all of a sudden come back into the limelight. But I'm here to say let it go. If you haven't wore it in over a year let it go. You don't need it so get rid of it. There's no need for the clutter.
This ensemble is a perfect example of reinventing throwback pieces. My plaid tunic came into the scene and in my closet back in 2010 ish. It's been a few years since I wore it until that night. Since 2010 plaids and print in general have been all over my screens and print. Not to mention the length of dresses, tunics and tops have a longer hem line. So this piece has been a reinvented item for my wardrobe. I paired the top with my favorite Forever 21 leggings, classic black leather jacket and black riding boots. Happy recycling!!!
